Elizabeth Grammaticas is interdisciplinary artist, writer, and curator. She received a B.F.A. in painting from Rhode Island School of Design, and a M.F.A. in fine arts from the School of Visual Arts, and grant funding from the English Arts Council. She has presented at the world's first academic Kardashian conference, Kimposium! at Brunels University London, exploring the Kardashian relationship with trauma, technology, and public personal narrative.
With a variety of methods; painting, installation, writing, along with physical and digital curation, she examines & interrogates our shared collective pop cultural consciousness. Her work dives into the psychology of our celebrity zeitgeists through women’s public narratives, as well as the social and cultural histories of the private/public through persons, places, and traumas.
